There are several different types of fuel injection conversions available, however, this instruction will concentrate on the High Output, MASS-AIR setups found on the 92-93 Ford Mustangs. There are two main advantages to using this type of setup. The first advantage is that the computer in the MASS-AIR system will automatically compensate for any engine modifications that have been done prior to the installation of the fuel injection system. The second advantage is that fuel is sent to each cylinder individually only during the appropriate firing cycle, meaning that fuel is sent sequentially to each cylinder only when the spark plug is ready to fire. The 1100F allows for easy interfacing between the remote start and the factory immobilizer, while maintaining the integrity of the OEM system. The factory transponder-based anti-theft system uses a small electronic chip hidden in the key to send a code to the vehicle’s transceiver when the ignition is energized. The key must be placed in the ignition and turned to the RUN position. This energizes a coil surrounding the key, which in turn energizes the chip, which sends a code to the vehicle. If the vehicle does not detect the code being sent, the vehicle will start and then immediately shut off or will just crank, and the anti-theft light will flash. Download 1. With the truck parked on a clean, dry, and level surface set the parking brake. Chock the rear wheels. Using a floor jack raise the front of the truck and support the frame rail with approved jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE. 2. Using a 22 mm socket remove the lug nuts on the front wheels and remove the front wheels. 3. Measure the amount of thread showing on the torsion bar adjuster bolts. See Photo 1. Drivers Side ______ Passenger Side ______ Using a 18mm socket remove the adjuster bolt . 4. Remove the shock absorbers using a XX wrench. Retain factory hardware for reuse. 5.
