The previous filter used on this car was the smaller EaO-12l. In stock form, the oil capacity with filter was 2.6 quarts. The By-pass Installation – 2006 Honda Insight 1.0L SOHC. The small size of the 1.0L three-cylinder in the Honda Insight hybrid left room to mount the BMK-13 neatly on the aluminum tower brace behind the engine. There was so much room back there, I decided to go with the big EaO-26 and the enormous 25th anniversary chrome edition EaBP-110 which looks super. The previous filter used on this car was the smaller EaO-12l. In stock form, the oil capacity with filter was 2.6 quarts. The car now holds just over 5.5 quarts, an increase in oil capacity of nearly 115 percent. The filtering media surface area increased by approximately three orders of magnitude. Remove the left foot peg and bracket. It is necessary to remove the footpeg from the bracket in order to remove and install the new bolts. 2. Install the kickstand under the left foot peg bracket using the stock bolts, we recommend using a removable thread-locking agent on the bolts. Check to make sure that the weld on the frame is not interfering with the kickstand mount, if necessary file the weld and bracket to allow for proper fit. 3.
