Download REMOVING THE CONSOLE STEP 1: Remove the front cup holders. Remove the Torx screws under the cup holder with a T-20 bit. (Some cars may have Phillips head screws). STEP 2: Remove the rear cup holders. Squeeze the center and pull forward to undo the back tab, then pull straight up to unsnap the cup holder. Remove the nuts holding the rear of the console. STEP 3: Unscrew the shift knob from the shifter. Leave it attached to the leather boot. STEP 4: Pull the parking brake up as far as it will go. STEP 5: Pull up and back to remove the console. Be careful not to scrape the brake handle on the console. STEP 6: Reach underneath the console and disconnect the cigarette lighter plug.
