Download Remove Factory Radio STEP 1 : The Ford radio is snapped into the vehicles dash. With the proper tool, known as Ford radio removal keys, the Ford radio can be pulled forward out of the dash. A clothes hanger can be used instead of actual Ford radio removal keys. Cut the clothes hanger and bend 2 pieces in the shape as shown in the photos above. Download Remove Factory Radio NOTE : To remove the Honda factory radio, (2) two screws at the rear of the radio must be removed from underneath the radio which can be accessed from behind the radio. The Honda radio is secured to the pocket below the radio and will pull out of the dash connected together as one unit. STEP 1 : Move to the passenger side of the vehicle. The screws that secure the radio/pocket assembly to the dash are at the rear of the radio. Remove Factory Radio. STEP 1 : The clock unsnaps from the dash panel, but requires a very small flat head screwdriver or similar flat tool. Insert the tool into the side gap between the edge of the clock assembly and the dash panel. GENTLY, pry out that edge of the clock. Insert your fingers into the gap and pull firmly to completely remove the clock from the dash panel. Once the clock has been pulled out, unplug the plastic connector attached to the rear of the clock. STEP 2 : Once the clock assembly has been removed locate and remove one (1) phillips screw. STEP 1 : The center dash console must be loosened and pulled away in order to gain access to screws securing the plastic dash panel surrounding the radio. Open the center console glove box. At the very bottom is a plastic panel that covers hidden screws. With your fingers or a flat head screwdriver, lift up and remove the plastic panel. Once the panel is removed, locate and remove two (2) phillips screws. STEP 2 : Lift open the drink tray door.
