Download 2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6L, Vin C 2003 Hyundai Accent GS 1.5L Customer Concern: Difficulty filling the gas tank. The pump keeps clicking off. Tests/Procedures: 1. Disconnect the vapor line at the charcoal canister that comes from the liquid vapor separator and goes to the charcoal canister. See if the fuel tank can be easily filled then. 2. If the fuel tank can easily be filled with the vapor line removed from the charcoal canister, reconnect the vapor line and remove the other lines from the charcoal canister and see if the fuel tank can be easily filled. 3. If the fuel tank is once again difficult to fill, replace the charcoal canister. 4. If disconnecting the vapor line at the charcoal canister does NOT make the fuel tank easy to fill, then disconnect the vapor line from the liquid vapor separator at the fuel tank in case the vapor line is plugged/restricted.… Read More

Download Removal Procedure Important Clean the evaporative emission (EVAP) connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to avoid possible system contamination. 1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information. 2. Remove the harness clip from the canister vent solenoid (CVS) line. 3. Disconnect the CVS electrical connector. 4. If the vehicle is equipped with a 6 ft box, disconnect the EVAP CVS line from the canister. 5. Remove the CVS clip from the frame crossmember. 6. Push in the retainer and remove the CVS from the fuel tank clip. 7. If the vehicle is equipped with a 8 ft box, disconnect the EVAP CVS line from the canister. 8. Remove the CVS clip from the frame crossmember. 9. Push in the retainer and remove the CVS from the fuel tank clip. Installation Procedure 1. Download The transmission solenoid/TRS assembly is internal to the transmission and mounted on the valve body assembly. The assembly consists of six solenoids that control hydraulic pressure to the six friction elements (transmission clutches), and the torque converter clutch. The pressure control solenoid is located on the side of the solenoid/TRS assembly. The solenoid/TRS assembly also contains five pressure switches that feed information to the TCM. OPERATION SOLENOIDS Solenoids are used to control the L/R, 2C, 4C, OD, and UD friction elements. The reverse clutch is controlled by line pressure and the position of the manual valve in the valve body. All the solenoids are contained within the Solenoid and Pressure Switch Assembly. The solenoid and pressure switch assembly contains one additional solenoid, Multi-Select (MS), which serves primarily to provide 2nd and 3rd gear limp-in operation. The solenoids receive electrical power from the Transmission Control Relay through a single wire. Download Part # 307-05-0290 Racing Intake Manifold for • 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si • 1997-2001 Acura Integra Type-R • 1992-1993 Acura Integra GSR • 1994-1997 Honda Del Sol DOHC VTEC. Removal 1. Relieve fuel pressure by loosening banjo bolt on top of fuel fi lter. Disconnect the fuel line at fuel rail. It is recommended that the washers be replaced. Next, disconnect the fuel injector harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect hoses from fuel pressure regulator (FPR). 2. Disconnect intake tubing/pipe from throttle body. Next, disconnect all hoses leading to intake manifold and throttle body, including throttle cable bracket on manifold. On throttle body, disconnect throttle positions sensor (TPS) and map sensor. 3. Unbolt manifold bracket from engine block and intake manifold. This bracket will not be used in assembly and installation. Remove intake manifold, throttle body, and fuel rail as one unit. Next, disconnect the fuel injector harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect hoses from fuel pressure regulator (FPR). 2. Disconnect intake tubing/pipe from throttle body. Download TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY: 7/16″ wrench or socket 3/8″ wrench or socket #2 Phillips screwdriver Tape measure STEP 1: REMOVE CONTENTS & PLYWOOD PACKAGING Remove the canister and top cover from the box. Remove components from inside the canister. Perform a quick inventory to insure all parts are there. Using the wrench or socket remove the 2 bolts holding the plywood packaging supports on the ends of the canister. Discard plywood packaging supports and bolts. Locate the rail guide bolts in the hardware pack and install them in the two holes where the packaging bolts and plywood were just removed. Repeat on both ends of the canister. Download DTC P0442 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Small Leak Detected Refer to Engine Controls Routing Diagram, EVAP Control System Overview . System Description This DTC tests the evaporative emission (EVAP) system for a small leak. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor signal to determine the vacuum decay rate. At an appropriate time, the control module turns the EVAP canister purge valve ON and the EVAP vent valve ON. This allows the engine to draw a vacuum on the EVAP system. At a calibrated time, or vacuum level, the control module turns the EVAP canister purge valve OFF, sealing the system, and monitors the FTP sensor input in order to determine the EVAP system vacuum decay. If the control module detects a leak larger than a calibrated amount, this DTC sets. Download Civic EX/Si 92-00, Del Sol Si/VTEC 92-95, Integra GSR/Type R 94-01,Prelude 97-01 S2000. Installation 1. Locate the original ECU. On most cars it is in the passenger side “kick panel” near the passenger’s feet. On the Prelude models, it is on the floor directly below the passenger’s feet. On the S2000 the ECU is located in the left side kick panel. 2. Locate the plugs needed for the VPAC wiring connections by looking at the illustration for your model and year. 3. Mount the VPAC using the “hook and loop” fastener tape to a convenient location on the dash or in the glove box. Route the wires to the ECU location. 4. Follow the instructions for your vehicle to complete the wiring. 5. Reinstall the ECU, ECU cover/kick panel/carpeting in the reverse order of removal. 6. Go have fun with your new VPAC.
