Remove Factory Radio NOTE : To remove the radio, the center dash panel surrounding the radio must be removed. There are three (3) phillips screws that secure this dash panel to the main dash assembly. However, (1) one of the screws is hidden behind the clock. STEP 1 : The clock unsnaps from the dash panel, but requires a very small flat head screwdriver or similar flat tool. Insert the tool into the side gap between the edge of the clock assembly and the dash panel. GENTLY, pry out that edge of the clock. Insert your fingers into the gap and pull firmly to completely remove the clock from the dash panel. Once the clock has been pulled out, unplug the plastic connector attached to the rear of the clock. STEP 2 : Once the clock assembly has been removed locate and remove one (1) phillips screw. Download Remove 1. Disconnect battery earth lead. 2. Remove ancillary drive belt . 3. Remove RH front road wheel. 4. Remove 3 bolts securing RH splash shield to body and remove shield. 5. Remove 3 bolts securing camshaft timing belt LH rear cover and remove cover. 6. Rotate crankshaft in a clockwise direction and align the engine “SAFE” position, notch on crankshaft pulley aligned to the “ARROW” on front mounting plate and the timing marks aligned on the rear camshaft gears as illustrated. Download 1 Remove the Dash Panel. Place both hands on either side of the center dash panel, firmly grip and slide forward, then lift. Step 2 Remove Upper Dash Panel Screws. Remove the four T-20 torx screws securing the upper dash panel. Step 2 Remove the Upper Dash Panel. To remove the upper dash panel, firmly pull the panel upwards being careful not to damage it. Step 3 Remove Lower Dash Panel. Underneath you will find the ecu housing cover. Remove the torx T-20 screws that secure the cover. Pull the ECU housing cover upward to expose the ECU. Step 4 Remove the ECU. To remove the ECU wiring harness, pull the tabs on harness away from the ECU. As this is done, the harness connector will pull away from the ECU. 1. Lift the bonnet and begin by undoing the two jubilee clips holding the hose between the airbox and turbo inlet. Pull off the breather to the cam cover and remove the whole hose assembly from the car. 2. Remove the airbox by undoing the single bolt on the left hand side, then pulling it upwards to remove it from the rubber grommets that hold it to the top of the inlet manifold, giving you access to the cold air feed that simply pulls off the right hand side. 3. Remove the MAP sensor from the top of the inlet manifold as shown, then push it firmly into the supplied Forge MAP sensor boss. A little silicon spray will make it easier. Attach the length of silicon vacuum hose supplied to the vacuum nipple on the side of the boss, then reattach the whole assembly back to the inlet manifold with the brass screw provided.… Read More

STEP 1 : The center dash console must be loosened and pulled away in order to gain access to screws securing the plastic dash panel surrounding the radio. Open the center console glove box. At the very bottom is a plastic panel that covers hidden screws. With your fingers or a flat head screwdriver, lift up and remove the plastic panel. Once the panel is removed, locate and remove two (2) phillips screws. STEP 2 : Lift open the drink tray door. Pull the drink tray up and pull it out of the center console.STEP 3 : Once the drink tray is removed, locate and remove three (3) phillips screws. (2) screws will be at the bottom of the panel, and (1) will be at the front left corner near the top of the opening.
