Description: The Edelbrock Performer X Turbocharging System is a complete Turbo Kit that gives 1996-2000 Honda Civic SOHC VTEC D16Y8 owners a 60-70 horsepower increase from turbocharging. The Garrett T-28 ball bearing turbo comes pre-assembled as one unit with a Ni-resist cast exhaust manifold and exhaust elbow, and inlet oil and water lines for the simplest possible installation. The system includes a high-performance Performer X intake manifold with four additional injectors and a separate electronic controller to add fuel and retard spark under boosted conditions. The Edelbrock Exhaust manifold and elbow are designed for maximum flow and high velocity for quicker turbo spool-up. Download DESCRIPTION The liquid cooling system consists of a radiator, water pump, thermostat, electric or belt-driven cooling fan, pressure cap, heater, and various connecting hoses and cooling passages in the engine block and cylinder head. MAINTENANCE DRAINING Remove radiator cap and open heater control valve to maximum heat position. Open drain cocks or remove plugs in bottom of radiator and engine block. The dual spool and carburettor cable are installed. The carburettor cable is attached to the lower groove in the dual spool. The other end of the carburettor cable is attached to the carburettors. Note the position of the roll pin. It is nearly contacting the end of the groove in the actuator spool. The free play in the carburettor cable must be adjusted so that the cable outer can be pulled out 2 ~ 3mm before the carburettors start to open.
