Download Power Steering Warning Message Displayed in DIC, IPC/Radio Displays Erratic, DTC C0900, B1325 Set (Replace Ignition Coil/Module Assembly and Add Ground Strap) Models: 2004-2006 Chevrolet Malibu, Malibu Maxx with 3.5L Engine (VINs 8, N — RPOs LX9, LZ4) Condition Some customers may comment on a loss of power steering assist at high RPM (above 3500 RPM) and a power steering warning message displayed in the DIC. They may also comment some instrument/radio displays are erratic. Upon investigation, the technician may find DTC C0900 set. If the displays were erratic, then DTC B1325 will also be set. Cause This condition may occur when the system voltage exceeds 16 volts for one second for code C0900 and the system shuts down to protect it from over-voltage operation. If the voltage exceeds 18 volts for five seconds for code B1325, then other electronic systems protect themselves and shut down. It has been found that this voltage increase is caused by an interaction between the alternator and the ignition coil/module assembly.… Read More

Has a code P1246. Tests/Procedures: 1. Disconnect the alternator and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Check the Violet (VT) (GENerator MONitor or GENMON) wire from the alternator to pin 20 of the PCM connector and the Red/Pink (RD/PK) (GENerator COMmand or GENCOM) wire from the alternator to pin 45 of the PCM for high resistance, an open, or a short to ground. Repair the wiring as needed. 2. If the wiring checks OK, reconnect the PCM and alternator. Start the engine and monitor the VT wire for a roughly 0-10v square wave signal. The signal will be around 40-50% normally with no loads on the system and minimal charging system output.… Read More
INTRODUCTION GEMINI 7039E. The system Gemini 7039E is a module studied to control the vehicle central door locking. It can be installed on vehicle with 12 or 24 volts battery (negative to earth). DESCRIPTION – Remote controlled module to open/close the vehicle doors with dynamic code ( frequency 433.92 MHz ). – Blinker. – Central door locking, electric windows and sunroof closure control (for vehicle equipped with Pack-comfort system). The system Gemini 7039 is equipped with N. 2 transmitters (Art.7218E). INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (for the installer). – Connect the feeding wire to the battery positive terminal and the earth directly to the vehicle frame. – Avoid routing connections next to interference source (plug wires high voltage coil etc.) DIP SWITCH PROGRAMMING TABLE 1 ON Self-learning of a new active code. 1 OFF Self-learning of a new isolated code ( normal use) 2 OFF Not used 3 ON Central door locking control: 6 sec.… Read More
Download PRODUCT ACCESSORIES DESCRIPTION The 1100F interface module is used when installing remote start products in Ford vehicles equipped with a factory immobilizer. The 1100F allows for easy interfacing between the remote start and the factory immobilizer, while maintaining the integrity of the OEM system. The factory transponder-based anti-theft system uses a small electronic chip hidden in the key to send a code to the vehicle’s transceiver when the ignition is energized. The key must be placed in the ignition and turned to the RUN position. This energizes a coil surrounding the key, which in turn energizes the chip, which sends a code to the vehicle. If the vehicle does not detect the code being sent, the vehicle will start and then immediately shut off or will just crank, and the anti-theft light will flash. The 1100F provides a valid code to the vehicle whenever it is remote started, but does not affect the immobilizer system during normal vehicle operation; the immobilizer system remains fully functional.… Read More
