Download 2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6L, Vin C 2003 Hyundai Accent GS 1.5L Customer Concern: Difficulty filling the gas tank. The pump keeps clicking off. Tests/Procedures: 1. Disconnect the vapor line at the charcoal canister that comes from the liquid vapor separator and goes to the charcoal canister. See if the fuel tank can be easily filled then. 2. If the fuel tank can easily be filled with the vapor line removed from the charcoal canister, reconnect the vapor line and remove the other lines from the charcoal canister and see if the fuel tank can be easily filled. 3. If the fuel tank is once again difficult to fill, replace the charcoal canister. 4. If disconnecting the vapor line at the charcoal canister does NOT make the fuel tank easy to fill, then disconnect the vapor line from the liquid vapor separator at the fuel tank in case the vapor line is plugged/restricted.… Read More

Removing the stock air inlet system : a) Loosen and remove PCV breather hose from the inlet tube. Loosen the hose clamp at the throttle body. Tools Recommended: Pliers, 10mm Socket. b) Release the harness connector(s) at the ECU by first flipping the retainers up. Then pull up on the harness connectors. c) Remove the three bolts that secure the air box to the vehicle. Remove the air box from the vehicle. Tools Recommended: 10mm Socket. d) Unbolt the four mounting bolts from the ECU to the air box. Tools Recommended: 10mm Socket and Wrench.
Installing the Hyundai Air Intake System : a) When installing the Hyundai Air Intake System, DO NOT completely tighten the hose clamps, heat shield bolts or mounting tab hardware until instructed to do so later in these instructions. Check to see that the inside of the inlet pipes and air filter are clean and free from any foreign objects and/or obstructions.… Read More

Download NOTE: Both pulse generator-B inspection and TCM reprogramming procedures should be performed. PULSE GENERATOR-B INSPECTION PROCEDURE: 1. Open and secure the hood. 2. Remove the resonator. 3. Locate the pulse generator under the battery tray. Disconnect the pulse generator connector (blue) and remove the pulse generator male connector (black) from the bracket. 4. Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance between terminal No. 3 and No. 4 in the disconnected pulse generator male connector (black color). Resistance value: 215-275W (at 20°C or 68°F) If the resistance is lower or higher than the specification, replace the pulse generator (P/N 45955-22700). If the resistance is within specification go to Step 5. 5. Clean both ends of the disconnected pulse generator connectors with aerosol electrical contact cleaner. 6. Apply contact grease (P/N 00305-F0000-39, NYOGEL 760G), into all four terminal openings of the blue female connector until each terminal opening is completely filled with grease.… Read More
