Download 1. Remove fuel tank filler cap. Listen for fuel pump operation noise at fuel tank filler. Fuel pump should operate for 2 seconds after ignition switch is turned on. If fuel pump operates as specified, fuel pump is okay. If fuel pump does not operate as specified, go to next step. 2. Turn ignition switch off. Remove rear seat or trunk floor to gain access to fuel pump connector. Disconnect fuel pump connector. Disconnect PGM-FI main relay connector. Connect a fused jumper wire between PGM-FI main relay connector FUEL PUMP fuse side terminal and fuel pump side terminal. See L – WIRING DIAGRAMS article. 3. Turn ignition switch on. Using a voltmeter connected to ground, check for battery voltage at fuel pump harness side connector. See L – WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Download 1. With the ignition key in the OFF position, disconnect the battery. 2. Remove the two (2) screws that attach the air inlet resonator to the upper radiator support. 3. Disconnect the upper and lower air inlet hoses from the resonator and remove the resonator. 4. Remove the air cleaner housing. 5. Locate the radiator cooling fan relay on the left front inner frame rail just behind the radiator (Figure 1). 6. Disconnect the radiator fan relay wiring connector. 7. Remove the radiator fan relay. Discard the relay and the attaching screws. 8. Install the new radiator fan relay using the supplied screws. Tighten the screws to 35 in-lbs (4 N.m). CAUTION: Do not over torque screws. To ensure heat transfer and proper operation, the new radiator fan relay must be installed using both of the provided screws. 9. Connect the radiator fan relay electrical connector. Circuit Description The camshaft position PCM input is produced by the ignition control module. The ICM produces the camshaft position PCM input by filtering the camshaft position (CMP) sensor pulses when the engine is running and CKP sync pulses are also being received. The PCM uses the camshaft position PCM input pulses to initiate sequential fuel injection and to determine crankshaft position for the misfire diagnostic. The PCM constantly monitors the number of pulses on the camshaft position PCM input circuit and compares the number of camshaft position PCM input pulses to the number of 18X reference pulses and the number of 3X reference pulses being received. If the PCM receives an incorrect number of pulses on the camshaft position PCM input circuit, DTC P0341 will set and the PCM will initiate injector sequence without the camshaft position PCM input with a one in six chance that injector sequence is correct.… Read More
