Download Upper Grille Tools Required: Flat blade screwdriver Diagonal cutters Ratchet with 10mm socket Required Time: allow 30 minutes to an hour. Kit includes: Upper grille, lower grille, trim and 14 zip ties (10 upper, 4 lower) Step 1 Using the socket remove the Ford emblem by removing the quicklock nuts from the back side. (Note I have removed the entire grille from the truck but this is not necessary). Keep these nuts if you plan to re-install the Ford emblem. Step 2 Once the nuts are removed the two tabs need to be pryed back to release the pressure off the stems so that it can be easily pulled off of the plastic grille. Step 3 Prepare the grille by inserting the zipties as shown. This should be done as close to the edge trim as possible to prevent them from being seen. They need to be placed 1 at each corner then 1 at the center of the top and bottom and the other 4 centered between those.… Read More

Download Tools Required: small flat blade screw- driver, and diagonal cutters (for trimming tie wraps) Step 1: It is important that you install the UPPER grille BEFORE the LOWER!!! You will not be able to access the back of the upper grille once the lower grille is installed. Step 2: Once the hood is opened you will see a multitude of quick-lock fasteners holding the shroud and the upper grille in place. Using the small screw-driver, pop-the center out of the fastener and then pull the fastener completely out. You will need to remove the shroud and the upper grille. Note that there are some fasteners located along the bottom of the grille on the backside. You will need to feel around to find some of these. Download 1. Decide you want to customize the look of you Gen II Acura TL. This is what you are looking at now. Tools Required. Gloves- for your hands sake (there will be some sharp edges), a Philips head screwdriver, a towel (or something soft to lay your grille onto, cutters, hacksaw or dremel, and pliers) 2. Release hood and open the hood. You will notice looking at the back of your grille 5 black cap nuts and two black plastic clips. See photo below. Remove the 5 cap nuts and then while squeezing the plastic tabs pull on the grille from the outside to remove it from the hood. 3.
