Honda immobilizer emulator you must install in the motor ECU. Remove motor ECU from the car and open it. Inside you will find small immobilizer board. Exist 2 modifications: 1. Honda cars year 1995-1998 (Civic, Accord and others). Inside immo board looks like in picture. On this board is small 44pins processor and OKI M851G EEPROM (you can read/write it like 93C46). Most common problem with this type immobilizer is IMMO-ECU synchronization lost (this happens when ignition are switched ON with red key ). To solve this problem just erase OKI M851G EEPROM to FF…FF. To disable immobilizer just remove immobilizer board (marked in red on photo) from motor ECU. Honda immo emulator is no needed for this kind of ECU. 2. Honda cars year 1999-2002 (Accord, CRV, Civic and other). ). Inside immo board looks like in picture. On this board is 28pins processor with label. To disable immobilizer remove immobilizer board marked in red from motor ECU and install immobilizer emulator in his place (one to one – emulator pin1 must be soldered in motor ECU immo connector pin1).… Read More

Download Any time a CVT transmission is installed or serviced, it is important that you follow the exact maintenance and adaptation procedures. If not, serious transmission damage will occur! Adaptation procedures are mandatory on the CVT because an alternate a clutch resides within the transmission in place of a torque converter. If adaptation procedures are not performed after any repairs or fault deletions, drivability problems and transmission failures will follow. Note that these proc edures do exist and must be performed for all replacements and service maintenance. To refill the transmission you must have the proper tool or build your own. The Audi CTV models not only have a clutch adaptation procedure, but also a special procedure for changing the fluid. All four wheels must be off the ground a minimum of 20 centimeters (8 inches), and each wheel must be able to be rotated freely by hand. While observing the Tiptronic indicator, shift the CVT from its lowest ratio to its highest (six or seven speeds), accelerating moderately after each shift but never exceeding 56 kilometers (35 mph).… Read More

Download SYMPTOM The vehicle shudders or vibrates between 35 and 40 mph. PROBABLE CAUSE The torque converter is faulty. CORRECTIVE ACTION Replace the torque converter, or the torque converter and the transmission, and update the PCM with the HDS. NOTE: You must update the PCM to complete the repair. PARTS INFORMATION Torque Converter: P/N 26000-RDJ-315. DIAGNOSIS 1. To confirm the client’s complaint, test-drive the vehicle on a smooth road, preferably with a slight incline. Set the cruise control between 35 and 40 mph, and monitor the engine rpm using the vehicle’s tachometer, or use the HDS to take a snapshot of the engine rpm. 2. If the engine speed fluctuates several hundred rpm while maintaining a constant vehicle speed, disconnect the EGR valve and retest the vehicle. •If the fluctuation is gone, refer to the EGR troubleshooting in the service manual. •If the engine rpm still fluctuates, and the transmission does not have any other symptoms (shifting problems, slipping, transmission DTCs) go to step 3.… Read More

The AEM Engine Management System (EMS) is the result of extensive development on a wide variety of cars. Each system is engineered for the particular application. The AEM EMS differs from all others in several ways. The EMS is a stand alone system, which completely replaces the factory ECU and features unique Plug and Play Technology, which means that each system is configured especially for your make and model of car without any jumper harnesses. There is no need to modify your factory wiring harness and in most cases your car may be returned to stock in a matter of minutes.… Read More
