FORD RANGER FULL TAILGATE COVER SUGGESTED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Download The full tailgate cover is designed to fit over the complete tailgate with no seams exposed on the rear face of the tailgate. It covers the original handle area so another latch mechanism which operates from the inside of the tailgate may be used. A Tailgate handle relocator kit is available. If this method is to be used, it must be done now before installing the tailgate cover. 1. Tailgate should be removed from the truck. 2. Be sure the latch mechanism is modified and working correctly. After the cover is installed the original mechanism is not accessible. 3. Straighten the tailgate if it is bent or twisted. If installing a louvre cover, paint the rear face of the tailgate with a flat black paint to prevent the original paint from showing through the louvres. Any distortion in the top of the tailgate should be repaired to allow the cover to follow the original tailgate contour.… Read More

2000-2003 Ford Focus 2.0L Zetec 21-450 COLD AIR SYSTEM Installation Instructions

Download The AEM Cold Air System differs from all others in several ways. We take the inlet air from outside of the engine compartment where the inlet air is considerably cooler than the hot underhood air. The cooler inlet air temperature translates to more power during the combustion process because cool air is denser than warm air. AEM has conducted extensive inlet air temperature studies and we have seen temperature reductions of up to 50 degrees by pulling air from outside of the engine compartment. The air mass flow to the engine is increased because of the increased airflow and reduced inlet temperature, which translates to more power. The AEM Cold Air Systems are 50 states Street Legal (some models and years still pending) and come with complete instructions for ease of installation. Read and understand these instructions BEFORE attempting to install this product. 1) Getting started a) Make sure vehicle is parked on a level surface.… Read More
