Download REMOVAL 1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Lower Spoiler ) a. Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly. b. Using a screwdriver, open the 2 rear bumper plates. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use. c. Remove the 6 screws and 2 clips. d. Disengage the 12 claws and disconnect the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration. HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side. e. Remove the rear bumper assembly. 2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD (w/ Rear Lower Spoiler ) a. Download Tools Needed 2 -19mm wrenches or sockets 1 -18mm socket 1 -15mm socket 1 -13mm wrench or socket 1 -10mm wrench or socket 1 -Phillips head and Flat head screw driver. 1) Remove hood release latch from factory assembly on factory bumper. Set aside and retain factory hardware for future installation. 2) Remove 4 bolts beside tow hooks to remove factory bumper using an 18mm socket. (SEE FIGURE 1) 3) Remove tow hooks using 15mm socket. 4) Remove fog lights from factory bumper retain plastic pins and adjusting screw assembly for future installation. 5) Remove casing from factory fog lights and discard. Download Cleaning procedure using a paper towel and grease remover or lacquer thinner, thoroughly clean area on car where the double face tape will come in contact with the painted surface. Do not allow thinner or cloth to remain on car too long as it can cause damage to the painted surface. Using either of the recommended adhesion promoters on a clean lint free cloth, apply a thin, uniform coating to the bonding surface, using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface. Download 2″ Lift 1992-96 F150 822 1992-97 F250*, F350* 822 3″ Lift 1992-96 F150 823 1992-97 F250*, F350* 823 Intake air duct 1. Remove intake air duct from top of radiator and throttle body. Fan shroud 1. Remove two bolts securing fan shroud to top of radiator. Pull fan shroud up and out of clips that secure fan shroud to bottom of radiator. Smog canister 1. Remove two bolts securing smog canister to passenger side fender well. Move canister about 5″ toward engine. Drill two new holes and install canister with stock hardware. This will allow the hose to reach the canister after cab has been lifted. Steering shaft (under dash) 1. Strap steering wheel to prevent accidental move- ment. 2.
