Download 1. Disconnect vacuum hose at speed control servo and install a vacuum gauge into the disconnected hose. 2. Start engine and observe gauge at idle. Vacuum gauge should read at least ten inches of mercury. 3. If vacuum is less than ten inches of mercury, determine source of leak. Check vacuum line to engine for leaks. Also check actual engine intake manifold vacuum. If manifold vacuum does not meet this requirement, check for poor engine performance and repair as necessary. 4. If vacuum line to engine is not leaking, check for leak at vacuum reservoir. To locate and gain access to reservoir, refer to Vacuum Reservoir REMOVAL / INSTALLATION . ISSUE: Some 2000-2007 Taurus, 2000-2005 Sable, 2000-2003 Windstar, and 2004-2007 Freestar/Monterey vehicles, equipped with a 4F50N, AX4N, or AX4S transaxle, may exhibit an erratic fluid level reading on the transaxle dipstick and possible leaks around the filler tube and grommet. The condition may be due to a restricted transaxle vent. ACTION: Repair the transaxle vent restriction by replacing the transaxle vent with a 90° vent stem, small hose clamp, two (2) tie raps, and 24″ (61 cm) of 5/16″ (8 mm) vacuum hose. The 5/16″ (8 mm) vacuum hose will be routed from the 90° vent on the transaxle back to the cowl area, next to the brake master cylinder and tie rapped in place with the end of the hose facing down. Download Remove Factory Radio STEP 1 : The Ford radio is snapped into the vehicles dash. With the proper tool, known as Ford radio removal keys, the Ford radio can be pulled forward out of the dash. A clothes hanger can be used instead of actual Ford radio removal keys. Cut the clothes hanger and bend 2 pieces in the shape as shown in the photos above. For more information on how to remove the radio, see the diagram below. STEP 2 : Pull the radio from the dash. Unplug the antenna cable from the rear of the radio. DESCRIPTION: These high-efficiency intercoolers feature a bar and plate core with cast aluminum end tanks. Intercooler #15009 is designed for 1996-2000 Honda Civics, while #15036 is for 1992-1995 Honda Civics, and #15037 is designed for 1994-2001 Acura Integras. Modification of the stock bumper cover is required, aftermarket bumper covers may or may not need modification. Intercooler #15009 features a 22″long, 6″wide, 2.5″ thick core, while #15036 &15037 feature a 22″long, 5.5″wide, and 2.5″thick core. Hose connections for all intercoolers are 2.5″diameter.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Installation of the intercooler requires removal of the front bumper cover. Follow your factory service manual for removal and reinstallation of the bumper cover. 2.
