Download Note: Disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting this installation. 1. Remove the air intake box and air intake duct that leads to the mass air flow sensor. 2. Slip the 2 3/4″ straight hose over the mass air flow sensor use two clamps and tighten the clamp on the mass air flow sensor. (See fig. 2) 3. Take the vibra-mount and screw it into the bracket located on the side of the strut tower mount. (See fig. 3) Removing the head lamp and the front bumper. 4. Download Part # 307-05-0290 Racing Intake Manifold for • 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si • 1997-2001 Acura Integra Type-R • 1992-1993 Acura Integra GSR • 1994-1997 Honda Del Sol DOHC VTEC. Removal 1. Relieve fuel pressure by loosening banjo bolt on top of fuel fi lter. Disconnect the fuel line at fuel rail. It is recommended that the washers be replaced. Next, disconnect the fuel injector harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect hoses from fuel pressure regulator (FPR). 2. Disconnect intake tubing/pipe from throttle body. Next, disconnect all hoses leading to intake manifold and throttle body, including throttle cable bracket on manifold. On throttle body, disconnect throttle positions sensor (TPS) and map sensor. 3. Download REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Remove the throttle body cover, intake manifold covers, ignition wire holder, and ignition wire cover. 2. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose and the vacuum hose from the intake manifold. 3. Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold (two nuts and two bolts). Leave all hoses, cables, and electrical connectors connected to the throttle body. Discard the throttle body gasket. 4. Remove the PCV valve from the cylinder head cover. Remove the intake manifold (three nuts and six bolts). 5. Remove the intake manifold chamber, IAT sensor, boost plate, and PCV hose from the intake manifold. 6. Cover the six ports on the bottom of the manifold with duct tape. 7. Use an 8-mm drill bit and carburetor cleaner to clean the EGR port in the intake manifold. Turn the drill bit only by hand.
