• DESCRIPTION: The Edelbrock Honda/Acura Fuel rails, Part # 4794,4796, and 4798, have been designed to fit stock, Edelbrock Victor X, or our Edelbrock Performer X manifolds using stock Honda injectors. Part #4795,4797, and 4799 accept Bosch-style injectors. These fuel rails feature a flow-through design 5/8″fuel passage with -8 AN o-ring threads at each end. They are fully CNC machined from aluminum extrusions, polished, then hard anodized for use with racing fuel (including methanol and alcohol). Download Part # 307-05-0290 Racing Intake Manifold for • 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si • 1997-2001 Acura Integra Type-R • 1992-1993 Acura Integra GSR • 1994-1997 Honda Del Sol DOHC VTEC. Removal 1. Relieve fuel pressure by loosening banjo bolt on top of fuel fi lter. Disconnect the fuel line at fuel rail. It is recommended that the washers be replaced. Next, disconnect the fuel injector harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect hoses from fuel pressure regulator (FPR). 2. Disconnect intake tubing/pipe from throttle body. Next, disconnect all hoses leading to intake manifold and throttle body, including throttle cable bracket on manifold. On throttle body, disconnect throttle positions sensor (TPS) and map sensor. 3. 1. Disconnect the fuel injector wiring connectors and remove the existing fuel rails. Remove fuel injectors from manifold base and set aside. 2. Attach the four (4) supplied mounting tabs and eight (8) #10-24 screws to the fuel rail. Orient the tabs so that the slot angle is parallel with the injector bores. The tabs are designed to allow adjustment to compensate for various injector heights and manifold tolerances. 3. Apply a small amount of oil on supplied fittings and O-rings. Install into the rails as shown in the fuel line attachment examples on the following page. 4. Snap the supplied retainers into the top groove on each fuel injector as shown in Fig. A to the right. There are several different types of fuel injection conversions available, however, this instruction will concentrate on the High Output, MASS-AIR setups found on the 92-93 Ford Mustangs. There are two main advantages to using this type of setup. The first advantage is that the computer in the MASS-AIR system will automatically compensate for any engine modifications that have been done prior to the installation of the fuel injection system. The second advantage is that fuel is sent to each cylinder individually only during the appropriate firing cycle, meaning that fuel is sent sequentially to each cylinder only when the spark plug is ready to fire.
