1984-1995 Honda Civic/CRX Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) System

Download SERVICE Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve For PCV valve removal, refer to Routine Maintenance of this information. 1. Locate the PCV valve. With the engine running at idle, use pliers to pinch the PCV hose between the valve and the intake manifold. It should be possible to hear the spring loaded valve click shut. 2. If no click is heard, remove the valve from the engine but leave it connected to the intake manifold. A hissing sound should be heard and vacuum should be felt at the valve inlet. 3. If no vacuum is felt, remove the valve from the intake manifold hose. The engine should stall or almost stall. This will indicate a stuck valve or clogged hose. Check the breather hose for clogging or leaks and replace any defective parts. Audi TT A.W.E. Tuning DV1 Diverter Valve

Download 1.8T Audi TT, VW Golf/Jetta/New Beetle. Step 1: Here’s an overview picture of the transverse 1.8T engine found in the Audi TT, VW Golf/Jetta/New Beetle 1.8T. The 225hp TT engine looks a little different, but the install of the A.W.E. Tuning valve is the same procedure. For picture clarity, and ease of install, the decorative engine cover has been removed. Removing the cover is easily done by twisting the “+” shaped fasteners on the cover 90 degrees. They’ll pop up when free, allowing you to grab the cover and lift it up and out of the engine bay. (New Beetle requires removing 2 10mm nuts hidden under trim caps, and then sliding forward and out) We’ve also removed the PCV damper in the following pictures for clarity. You won’t need to remove this item to install the valve. Installation instructions for A.W.E. Tuning DV1 Diverter Valve For 1.8T Audi TT, VW Golf/Jetta/New Beetle Thank you for purchasing the A.W.E.… Read More

1994-2001 Acura Integra Part EGJ1 HASPORT PERFORMANCE

Download Part Number EGJ1 for J-series V6 engines into 1992-1995 Honda Civic, 1994-1997 Del Sol And 1994-2001 Acura Integra. Things you should know about this swap The following is a list of information you should know before performing this swap. Please visit www.hasport.com for the latest information on this swap. 1. Ground and hood clearance – The J-series engine is a tall engine. It is much taller than the H22 and K-series engines. Hasport engine mounts are designed to hold the engine with the same ground clearance you would find on a K-series engine swapped vehicle. The engine sticks up several inches above the hood line. A custom or modified hood is needed. 2. Hasport does not make a conversion engine harness for the swap. 3. Power Steering – The Civic or Integra power steering hose will not work with the J-series power steering pump. Just like with K-series swaps, new power steering hoses need to be made and the reservoir will need to be relocated.… Read More

Ford Mustang Fuel Injection Conversion

Download These instructions will provide the basic and necessary information to allow a carbureted 302 to be converted to SEFI Fuel Injection. There are several different types of fuel injection conversions available, however, this instruction will concentrate on the High Output, MASS-AIR setups found on the 92-93 Ford Mustangs. There are two main advantages to using this type of setup. The first advantage is that the computer in the MASS-AIR system will automatically compensate for any engine modifications that have been done prior to the installation of the fuel injection system. The second advantage is that fuel is sent to each cylinder individually only during the appropriate firing cycle, meaning that fuel is sent sequentially to each cylinder only when the spark plug is ready to fire. This makes for an extremely efficient firing cycle . SEFI stands for Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection. This system is complex to be sure, therefore, this instruction is going to skip all the technical mumbo-jumbo, and focus on the bare essentials to install this system properly.… Read More
