Download Acura GSR Whirlwind Intake Manifold Part No. 59002 (Polished) and 59003 (Satin) For use on 1994 – 2001 Acura Integra GSR 1.8L DOHC VTEC. Preparation for Installation – 1. Make sure that there are no metal chips or other debris inside the manifold. Check that all bolts will run freely into any tapped holes. 2. Note that while this manifold makes provision for all vacuum lines and other brackets or parts that attached to the stock manifold, the vacuum ports originally on the front side of the manifold have been moved to the back for a cleaner appearance. This will require the use of longer vacuum hoses in some cases. 3. Disconnect battery and drain coolant. 4. Mark and identify all hoses and valves. 5. Check the condition of all hoses, gaskets and o-rings. Replace as needed. Use a new intake gasket. Honda #17105-P72-004. Removal – 1. Download 1. Relieve fuel pressure by loosening banjo bolt on top of fuel fi lter. Disconnect the fuel line at fuel rail. It is recommended that the washers be replaced. Next, disconnect the fuel injector harness holder and unbolt. Disconnect hoses from fuel pressure regulator (FPR). 2. Disconnect intake tubing/pipe from throttle body. Next, disconnect all hoses leading to intake manifold and throttle body, including throttle cable bracket on manifold. On throttle body, disconnect throttle positions sensor (TPS) and map sensor. 3. Unbolt (2) lower intake manifold bolts that secure the manifold to the engine block. This bracket will still be used to accommodate the heater bypass pipe. Next, unbolt the manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the intake manifold, throttle body, and fuel rail as one unit. Inspect intake manifold gasket. Replace as needed. Make sure to note all disconnect hoses and sensors. 4. Remove the intake air bypass (IAB) vacuum tank, check valve, and control solenoid valve.… Read More

DESCRIPTION: These high-efficiency intercoolers feature a bar and plate core with cast aluminum end tanks. Intercooler #15009 is designed for 1996-2000 Honda Civics, while #15036 is for 1992-1995 Honda Civics, and #15037 is designed for 1994-2001 Acura Integras. Modification of the stock bumper cover is required, aftermarket bumper covers may or may not need modification. Intercooler #15009 features a 22″long, 6″wide, 2.5″ thick core, while #15036 &15037 feature a 22″long, 5.5″wide, and 2.5″thick core. Hose connections for all intercoolers are 2.5″diameter.
1. Installation of the intercooler requires removal of the front bumper cover. Follow your factory service manual for removal and reinstallation of the bumper cover. 2. For 1996-2000 Civic, remove the bolt holding the horn onto the center radiator support and move the horn to the side. Ground and hood clearance – The J-series engine is a tall engine. It is much taller than the H22 and K-series engines. Hasport engine mounts are designed to hold the engine with the same ground clearance you would find on a K-series engine swapped vehicle. The engine sticks up several inches above the hood line. A custom or modified hood is needed. 2. Hasport does not make a conversion engine harness for the swap. 3. Download The following describes the procedure I used to remove and replace the right and left side rear differential seals on my 1994 Audi S4. This procedure should apply to the 1992 – 1994 S4 and the 1995-1997 S6 (the left seal process may be different on the ’96-’97 cars) and should be used in conjunction with the Bentley Repair Manual. Right Side Seal 1. Jack up the right rear of the car and support solidly on jackstands. The higher you jack the car, the better the access and the less likely oil will be lost when you remove the seal. 2. Remove the plastic gravel tray (four 13 mm bolts/nuts). 3. It is not necessary to drain the differential oil. When the axle flange and seal are removed, a small amount of oil may drain out. This can be caught in a drain pan. If you do decide to drain the differential oil, remove the fill plug BEFORE removing the drain plugs.… Read More

Failure to follow these procedures could result in engine damage. 1. Position the crankshaft and the camshaft pulleys as shown in Figure 1 before installing the timing belt. a. Set the crankshaft so that the No. 1 piston is at top dead center (TDC). Align the groove on the teeth side of the timing belt drive to the “arrow mark” pointer on the oil pump. b.
