Download 1. Remove windshield wiper pivot arms. Remove cowl top vent panel retaining screws. Release cowl top vent panel retaining clips. Remove windshield wiper fluid hose. Remove cowl top vent panel. 2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . INTAKE MANIFOLD Removal 1. Remove cowl top vent panel. See COWL TOP VENT PANEL . Release fuel pressure and disconnect fuel lines. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE & FUEL LINE CONNECTIONS . 2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove air cleaner assembly and heat tube. Disconnect control cables and linkage at throttle body. Disconnect accelerator cable bracket, and secure aside. 3. Disconnect necessary linkages at intake manifold. Disconnect wiring harness connectors, vacuum hoses, coolant hoses and PCV hoses as necessary. Remove heater tube with fuel lines attached. 4. Please note that installing this undertail it’s not too difficult, but timeconsuming. The worst part is cutting the plastic oem mud flap because of it’s odd geometric shape and thickness variances. BEFORE INSTALLING THE UNDERTAIL PLEASE REMOVE THE FOLLOWING: – seat and unbolt seat cowl (10 bolts -4 in grab bar, 2 top side at back edge below the seat, 1 on each side/low section of cowl, and two plastic snap screws bottom side). -brake light sockets -cowl (very carefully not stressing or twisting it too much) -metal retainer for seat lock, slides upward (located on inside of trunk section) and mounting bracket. -lock cylinder. 2-Then, unbolt turn signals under mud flap 3-Cut turn signal wires close to the turn signal 4-Unscrew brake light lens (4 screws) 5-Put back oem seat cowl and draw a line using the edge of masking tape) at the bottom edge of the oem cowl for where you’ll need to cut the mud flap for undertailclearance.… Read More

Remove Factory Radio STEP 1 : The plastic dash panel surrounding the radio must be removed. This dash panel simply unsnaps by pulling. With your hands, grab one corner and pull until the plastic dash panel completely pulls away from the main body of the dash. The Ford radio is snapped into the vehicles dash. With the proper tool, known as Ford radio removal keys, the Ford radio can be pulled forward out of the dash. A clothes hanger can be used instead of actual Ford radio removal keys. Download 2″ Lift 1992-96 F150 822 1992-97 F250*, F350* 822 3″ Lift 1992-96 F150 823 1992-97 F250*, F350* 823 Intake air duct 1. Remove intake air duct from top of radiator and throttle body. Fan shroud 1. Remove two bolts securing fan shroud to top of radiator. Pull fan shroud up and out of clips that secure fan shroud to bottom of radiator. Smog canister 1. Remove two bolts securing smog canister to passenger side fender well. Move canister about 5″ toward engine. Drill two new holes and install canister with stock hardware. This will allow the hose to reach the canister after cab has been lifted. Steering shaft (under dash) 1. Strap steering wheel to prevent accidental move- ment. 2. Download Optional tools: 8mm wrench, can of carb cleaner, awl (small pointy instrument), nail set, shop vac Time: 2 hours This procedure was done on a 2005 3.0 First start off start with removing wiper arms: Disconnect wiper washer supply lines, being very carefull not to snap off nipples! Remove wiper arm 13mm (socket) nut covers, loosen nuts to top of stud. Grab ahold of wiper arm closest to nut as possible, with small hammer (arm assembly should “pop” on third hit). DO NOT remove nut then strike stud this will lead to everything else is down hill. If not have someone else do the replacement. Using “optional” nail set, push down on center push/pull pin on front cowl (8 pieces).
